Saturday 24th October 2009 IT'S ON TODAY! See you there...
Friday 23rd October 2009 IT'S ON TOMORROW! We are busy now setting up the tables and stands ready for you all tomorrow. Hope to see as many of you as possible.
21st October 2009 ONLY 4 DAYS TO GO! The floor plan and show guide have now been finalised and can be downloaded from the Show Details page. We have a total of 27 Exhibitors and 33 Traders stands plus the ever popular Bring & Buy Secondhand Sale. Don't forget if you intend to enter any items in the Secondhand Sale it is easier if you have downloaded and completed the entry form before coming to the show. This form can also be downloaded from the Show Details page. A quick heads-up for those coming via the M5 around the Bristol area; there are road works on the Avon Bridge that can cause some delays, so allow extra time if you come that way. As usual with the British weather at this time of year, come prepared should we get a shower or two, especially for the keen ones that like to queue early to be the first in the door. We had a fun time yesterday with our friends at the Devon Air Ambulance Trust HQ when we presented a cheque for £1,050 from the proceeds of last year's show. Note the locos delicately balanced on the step of the helicopter. Even though these guys have possibly the biggest 'Boy's Toy' you can get, they were still fascinated and tempted by the idea of miniature live steam trains!
13th October 2009 We have now finalised the list of exhibitors and traders for this year's show. We have more displays and stands this year with some popular ones returning as well as many new ones. In addition to Dream Steam, we are please to announce the continued support of Western Event Hire again this year as a sponsor and welcome a new sponsor, 'Bovey Castle' provider of the draw prize for completed exit questionnaires. 9th October 2009 ONLY 2 WEEKS TO GO! The Traders page has been updated again with a further 2 traders, which means we now have 22 exhibitors and 29 traders confirmed.
20th September 2009 ONLY 5 WEEKS TO GO! Things are progressing at a pace now. The Exhibitors and Traders pages have been updated again with a further 7 traders, which means we now have 22 exhibitors and 27 traders confirmed. A booking form for our very popular 'Secondhand Sale' stand has now been added to the Show Details page so you can download it and fill it in before you arrive at the show.

4th July 2009 Things are now really taking shape for this year's show with exhibitor and trade bookings building up nicely and only a few spaces left. 19th November 2008 After the final count we had over 1000 people in attendance and managed to raise over £1000 for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust. We intend to build upon the success of this year's show to make next year's show even bigger and better as we have room at our new venue 'The Matford Centre' for even more exhibitors and traders. Many visitors, exhibitors and traders have said they are looking forward to the show next year, so we are expecting even more people to attend as the word gets about. We are therefore pleased to announce the show will be held again on Saturday 24th October 2009. Bookings are now being taken from exhibitors, traders and sponsors and we expect demand to be high. 28th October 2008 Thank You! A big thank you to all the visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, traders and members that helped make such an excellent day. The show was well attended with over 800 paying visitors, 23 exhibitors and 30 traders. We received over 80 feedback forms that suggest the venue's location and space were very welcome by all, along with the variety of exhibits and trade stands. Things to improve upon next time are signage, heating and more exhibits for younger children. Overall the show was well received. We are already discussing the next show and will keep this site updated as plans progress. We have added a nice video of the show made by James Walker on the Video page. 24th October 2008 Only a few hours to go!! There is lots of activity tonight with exhibitors and traders all setting up their displays for your enjoyment tomorrow - so see you in the morning. By the way, what would British weather be if it wasn't unpredictable. Latest forecast now suggests nice weather for tomorrow. Check with the Met Office for latest update. We will have Feedback Forms for you to let us know what you thought of the show, so please take a minute or two as you leave to fill out one of our forms and pop it in the box at the exit. 23rd October 2008 Only two days to go!! Oh yes, its nearly here - and in true British style a little rain and wind has been specially laid on for you according to the latest forecast. So, as the car park is a short walk from the entrance, please don't forget to bring a brolly; especially if you are going to be one of the keen ones queuing before 10.30am.
19th October 2008 Only a week to go!! Organisers, exhibitors and traders are working busily making final preparations to ensure this will be the best show yet for all attending. With over 50 different stands you will have plenty to see and spend your time admiring the exhibits and browsing the traders' goods. So make sure you have made your final plans to come as see us this coming Saturday. Enjoy your day!
4th October 2008 Well, the event is only two weeks away now and we are still adding new exhibitors and traders to the list. We now have 20 confirmed exhibitors and 27 traders attending. We have attracted three sponsors for the show now.

3rd September 2008 With only a few weeks to go things are now really starting to hot up. As you will see we have now have a new website sponsored by Dream Steam.
